Q: How long does it take to order a MINI Cooper?
A: Typically it takes two to four months for your custom MINI Cooper to arrive at Otto’s MINI. There are a few factors that can change the ordering time, such as which factory the specific model is produced in, what type of options or paint colors you choose.
Q: How can I track a MINI that I’ve ordered?
A: Once you’ve received a VIN or Production Number from your Motoring Advisor, you can track the progress of your MINI in the MINI Owners’ Lounge. When you first visit the Owners’ Lounge, you must create a new account for yourself with your VIN or production number. Once you’ve set up your account you will have full access to the MINI Production Tracking module. Any questions, reach out to your Motoring Advisor who can guide you through the process.
Q: Can ordering a MINI save me money?
A: Yes! By ordering just the options and features you want, you can save money by not paying for the features you don’t want.
Q: Does ordering a MINI Cooper cost extra?
A: No, there are no extra fees for placing a custom order. One thing to note, some custom colors do incur additional fees, your Motoring Advisor will alert you of those when you place your order.
Q: What if I want to make a change to my custom order?
A: So long as your vehicle has not started production, we can usually make alterations to your order (some exceptions apply). If you have questions about your custom order it’s best to contact your Motoring Advisor as soon as possible.
