5.0"The technician recommended a tire rotation and tire balancing at a cost of over $90. If this was a routine item recommended by MINI, then it should have been covered. As it was, the vehicle has tremendous smoothness in ride indicating to me that the tire balance was correct. If the technician was recommending routine tire rotation to prolong tire life and MINI chose not to include that in its prepaid maintenence, then a more reasonable cost of around $30 would be acceptable to me. After arriving, I was told that I really did need a loaner because the process would take much longer than expected, reprogramming itself can take several hours. If that were the case, why not have simply scheduled the loaner from the beginning? 2.0"Car wasn't completed despite scheduling it to be completed with drop day before, no call to advise me on status of car. Still have engine light despite having my car an additional day. Joe from service did a nice job apologizing and allowed me to keep the loaner which I did appreciate however, I am used to being notified via email or text staus of the car. At drop off I addressed issues that needed to be looked at and initially when the car wasn't completed they were unaware of my problems. Did not find the cashier friendly in the least, overall a C- from me and it was my first time using your facility. Joe also told me He would get my car cleaned to make it up to me I think they washed it but never did the inside dried drip marks on the hood and windows just another disappointment!" Otto's Mini has always repaired my car back to 100% and I have always been completely satisfied. Not only is Otto's Mini an exceptional dealership, but your employees are also top notch. My service advisor Fred kept me informed while my car was being worked on and was truly my advocate in getting my car repaired. I cannot say Thank you enough. When I picked up my car 3 days later the women at the desk was very friendly and helpful. I had several questions about my car, and the sales Manager Chad came out and sat in the car with me for about 30 minutes and helped me program my satellite radio and cell phone. 2.5"I was satisfied with my service, it was what happened afterward that I was upset about. After I picked up my MINI I immediately drove into Philadelphia. On the highway when I was driving at a high speed, several of my brake lights lit up and scared me very badly. I was able to get to my destination safely, but I was shaken. A brake failure at that speed would have been very bad. I immediately called Otto's and my service Adivsor directly but was unable to get anyone at MINI on the phone. I spoke to someone at Otto's BMW who told me he would advise Fred, my Service Advisor, that I would be coming in on Monday to have the problem fixed. When I did arrive Monday, Fred had no idea that there had been an issue at all. He was able to fix the warning lights and I have not had an issue since. I simply did not expect something like this to happen. 3.0"I requested a PA inspection and two other services: 1) Disable the remote from opening the roof and 2)fix trunk latch which intermittently fails to engage. I also asked for engine oil service if appropriate. On pickup, I was told that the tech couldn't find a way to disable the remote top opening feature, and that he was unable to find anything wrong with the trunk latch. I was also told that oil service wasn't due until May, so now I have to bring the vehicle back again for that service. All understandable, but I would have been more impressed if you had changed the oil anyway so that my annual inspection and oil service would coincide in the future. He found a rag and dried the seat after I told him I didn't really care. Second was that Anthony from the parts department recognized me in passing after having met once.
